Dance yourself fit!

When the colder months come in it gets harder and harder to get to the gym or get any activities whatsoever.

The best way to sneak in a workout is host your very own private disco in your living room! Just put your earphones in or turn up the volume to any high paced song and dance like no one is watching.

Kind of like this woman!

Not only will it burn calories but it will increase your moon and your productivity for the rest of the day.

My personal favorite CD for living dancing is Pump It Up by the Ministry of Sound, it's been mixed with fitness and sports in mind so from the get go it helps you move quicker and harder. And with an estimation of upto 443 calories burned per hour you can't go wrong!

Body Attack!

Body Attack is part of the Les Mills fitness franchise and you should find a trained instructor at a gym near you!

When I was trying my best to lose weight for a holiday to Greece this year I decided to push myself and try and really high cardio intense class. Brave I know!!

First two times I went to Body Attack I felt to weak and dizzy afterwards and needed bed early that night. I was surprised to find that the third class as more tolerable and manageable than the last two and the forth class was even enjoyable! I could feel myself get fitter which was such an amazing feeling of achievement.

At the time I was also doing Zumba once a week and a fitness DVD which aided in my achievement. I really want to push to all the people reading this article that you should put yourself to do these classes as they are the fastest way to achieve results and create a fitter you!

Now afew months after the holiday and not as obsessively going to the gym I am still benefiting from higher stamina and also a strong desire to keep up my fitness level.

My Curvy Story

I've always had curves and they have always made me feel insecure, especially when growing up. I would always get complemented by my bestest friends but my wider hips meant I couldn't fit the same amazing outfits as them and anything baggy made me look frumpy and even bigger than I was!

Now in my late 20s I'm struggling to achieve a more slender look, I have been advised by people in the fitness world my body is classified as Endomorphic. After finding this out things got allot easier and I understood my body more.

There are three main body types and this is the key starting point to knowing how to get a better you!
Ectomorphic - Find it hard to put on weight,
Mesomorphic - Can put on weight easy but also lose weight just as easy
Endomorphic - Puts on weight easy, gain muscle easy, struggle to lose weight.

The main factor that separates these categories is metabolism and how fast your body functions naturally.

Now knowing my body type it has been easier to set my personal goals and body image. It also shows you how you can be more healthier with yourself as each metabolism type burns food and reacts to exorcise differently.

Endomorphic diet and exorcise is the hardest out the three but if you can achieve your ideal level of health you will have the more desirable body our of the three, but it is hard work! It is recommended we have 5/6 mini meals a day as each meal will keep our metabolism burning and for exsorsizing high cardio training is key for fat burn.

I shall be writing about what can work and what to avoid more in this blog!
